FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. Ophthalmic lens comprising: an optical zone adapted for vision correction, optical zone formed from a first material having a first modulus of elasticity; peripheral zone surrounding optical zone and forming an upper region, middle region and lower region, wherein peripheral area is formed from a first material; and active area of increased thickness disposed in middle region; and a thin zone located at top and bottom fields, and one or more zones with a high modulus of elasticity, embedded in thin areas in peripheral zone, wherein one or more zones with a high modulus of elasticity are formed from a second material having a second modulus of elasticity, and second modulus of elasticity greater than first elastic modulus.
EFFECT: use of present group of inventions will reduce tendency of contact lens to gather in folds.
