SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine and is intended for use when fixing the external fixation device (EFD) to the weakened pelvic bone during treatment of patients with coxarthrosis with a defect in the articular parts of the hip joint. When fixing the external fixation device to the pelvis, the support of the external fixation device is connected by fixation elements with the iliac bone, while the surface reinforcement of the iliac bone with the extramedullary plates, for this purpose perform an incision of soft tissues, an extramedullary plate equipped with threaded holes is placed in the incision, the extramedullary plate is laid on the surface of the iliac bone, fix the extramedullary plate to the iliac bone with bone screws, perform soft tissue puncture over the iliac bone, through the puncture in the soft tissues, a fixation element is inserted, the fixing element is connected to the extramedullary plate so that the position of the fixation element with respect to the extramedullary plate is blocked, the free end of the fixation element is connected to the support of the external fixation device. In this case, a device is used that includes a extramedullary plate equipped with threaded holes, bone screws equipped with an external bent threads, with the possibility of their installation in the threaded holes, the fixing elements with the possibility of their connection and locking with the extramedullary plate.

EFFECT: inventions allow to mount EFD supports to the pelvis for a group of patients in whom it is impossible to apply other known methods and devices for fixing the EFD.
