FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medical technology, namely to installations for the disposal of medical infected wastes. On common platform 1 of the plant, device 2 is installed for thermal disinfection and destruction of medical waste (hereinafter the apparatus), control unit 3 and filter system unit 4. Device has heat chamber 5 with cover 6, external and internal housings 7 and 8, made in the form of buckets installed one inside other with gaps 9 and 10 between them. Device also comprises air diffuser 13 made in the form of an axial perforated tube. Coaxially to air diffuser 13, perforated tube 15 serving as a protective casing is installed. Device is provided with flexible electric heating elements 11, 12, 14 on the outer surface of the inner case, under its bottom and on the air distributor, respectively. Upper part of the body forms chamber 16 for collecting gases generated during the treatment of the waste. Device has a closed air circulation system equipped with ventilation pumps 20 with discharge nozzles 21 supplying air the air diffuser 13. Ventilation pumps 20 are located under the bottom of the outer casing. Air intakes 22 of suction nozzles 23 are located in the gap between the bottoms of the housings. In the upper part of the cylindrical walls of the inner case, openings 24 are provided, which allow air to flow from the internal volume of the heat chamber into the gap between the cylindrical walls of the outer and inner housings. Device has improved energy characteristics.
EFFECT: ensuring uniform temperature distribution over the internal volume of the thermal chamber while simultaneously reducing heat losses.
