SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medical wastes disinfection and their disposal. Solid medical waste thermal disinfection system contains a sterilization chamber with sealed loading and unloading caps and with rotating horizontal incisors fixed in the lower part of the chamber on a vertical shaft connected to the rotor of the electric motor and connected to the electric control panel. Chamber is equipped with fixed horizontal incisors, installed along the circumference on its wall, with a heating element, in addition, in the lower part of the chamber temperature sensors are installed. Venting system for the evacuation of the vapors is fed to the sterilization chamber, which is through a cyclone filter connected to the heat exchangers with a closed cooling circuit consisting of a pump and a radiator with a cooling fan. At that, the radiator is connected to the expansion tank, and the heat exchangers are connected to a group of filters with a fan to divert the cooled purified air into the atmosphere and a sealed container for collecting condensate, connected to a pump for supplying condensate to the sterilization chamber.

EFFECT: technical results are an increase in the efficiency of the steam-air mixture intake and cleaning from the working area of the sterilization chamber, increase in ecological compatibility and the safety of the waste disinfection process, as well as the safety of personnel during the equipment maintenance.
