SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to surgery, and can be used to assess the risk of complications in the long-term postoperative period in patients with signs of connective tissue dysplasia. To do this, determine the level of erythrocyte magnesium in mmol/l and the level of matrix metalloproteinase I in ng/ml. This study is performed before the operation and 5 days after the operation. Calculate the ratio of the level of matrix metalloproteinase I to the level of erythrocyte magnesium, with increase of this ratio by 20 % and more after 5 days after the operation, a high risk of complications in the long-term postoperative period is revealed, otherwise the risk of complications in the long-term postoperative period is insignificant.

EFFECT: invention provides detection of patients with a high risk of complications in the long-term postoperative period among surgical patients with signs of connective tissue dysplasia, which allows to correct treatment in time.
