FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery, and can be used for assessing the risk of developing complications in the early postoperative period in patients with connective tissue dysplasia. Erythrocyte magnesium level (mmol/l) and a level of matrix metalloproteinase IX (ng/ml) are determined. Examination is performed 24 hours prior to the operation. 12 hours after the operation, the ratio of the level of matrix metalloproteinase IX to the erythrocyte magnesium level is calculated. If this ratio increases by 10 % and more 12 hours after operation, a high risk of developing complications in the early postoperative period is detected. Otherwise, the risk of complications in the early postoperative period is insignificant.
EFFECT: method provides reliable detection of patients with a high risk of developing complications in the early postoperative period among surgical patients with connective tissue dysplasia due to analysis of clinical-biochemical laws of development of a wound process on a background of connective tissue dysplasia.
