SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely pediatrics, and can be used for preventive diagnosis of the risk of a reduction in the level of health of adolescent girls. The level of magnesium of erythrocytes (mmol/l) and the level of matrix metalloproteinase IX (ng/ml) in the blood serum are determined. The study is carried out twice: the first time between menstruation, the second time on the second day from the beginning of menstruation. The ratio of the level of matrix metalloproteinase IX to the level of magnesium of erythrocytes is calculated. With a decrease in this ratio by 12% or more, a high risk of a decrease in the level of a teenage girl is revealed. Otherwise, the risk of a reduction in the level of health of a teenage girl is low.

EFFECT: method provides an opportunity to increase the informativeness of the laboratory examination of adolescent girls by using the study of the dynamics of indicators showing the peculiarities of metabolism in connective tissue.
