FIELD: image processing means.

SUBSTANCE: method of increasing the image resolution consists in receiving optical radiation from a matrix photodetector (MPD), measuring and storing the parameters of the output signals of the photosensitive elements (PSE) of the MPD and forming them according to their image values. At the same time, for all PSE of the MPD, the areas of the photosensitive surface of each PSE of the MPD are sequentially closed and the parameters of the output signal of each PFC MPD are measured. Values of the output signal parameters, corresponding to the closed portion, are determined by subtracting the values of the output signal parameters, obtained when it is closed, from the stored values of the output signal parameters in the open state.

EFFECT: technical result is responsible for increasing the resolution of optical-electronic means that form the image of objects.
