FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology and ultrasound diagnosis, and can be used to diagnose volumetric laryngeal formations. Ultrasound examination of the larynx in the B-mode in the transverse direction is made. Then a color Doppler mapping of the larynx is carried out with quiet breathing. When detecting echogenic formations in the laryngeal lumen, intensively colored with color, the presence of volumetric formation is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method provides increase in the accuracy and visibility of the diagnosis of volumetric larynx formations due to the regime of color Doppler mapping with quiet breathing.
