FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the ethers preparation process, which can be used as the motor fuels additives, and also as the diesel fuels cetane-enhancing additives. Method consists in the C6-C9 secondary alcohols intermolecular dehydration in the presence of catalyst, a wide porous zeolite with a ratio of SiO2/Al2O3=15–30, in the production of which by the sol-gel method as the structure forming component trimethyl-auryl ammonium bromide is used, with deposited by the impregnation method sulfated zirconium oxide, at a temperature of 110–230 °C, overpressure of 10–70 kPa, and during the synthesis, the resulting olefins and water continuous distillation is carried out, after the synthesis stage the reaction mass is subjected to rectification to isolate the target product.
EFFECT: proposed method enables to obtain an end product with high selectivity.
