FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for evaluating the residual life of a pipe. Essence: step (S1) of establishing an inner diameter of the pipe is performed to obtain data on the inner diameter (D) of the pipe; degree of deformation of the internal diameter (ΔD) of the pipe from the difference between the inner diameter of the pipe and the original inner diameter (D0) of the pipe; the step of creating (S3a) a strain projection diagram for plotting the strain projection under conditions where the pipe broadening reaches the extension limit (X) of the service life with an arbitrarily predicted residual service life (T); standard deformation rate determination step (S3b) for obtaining data on the degree of deformation (A) obtained in determining the inner diameter of the pipe during the determination of the inner diameter of the pipe, as a standard for determining the presence/absence of the projected residual life on the basis of the strain projection diagram; general error calculation step (S3c) for determining the total error (B) in obtaining the inner diameter of the pipe; and a residual service life determination step (S4) for determining the residual life of the pipe based on the degree of deformation of the inner diameter of the pipe, degree of deformation, which serves as a standard for determining the presence/absence of the predicted residual service life, and the total error.
EFFECT: ability to assess the remaining life of the pipe with simple and time-consuming operations.
