SUBSTANCE: according to the electric arc detection method, the signal samples obtained in parallel for the first, second and third filtrations for the current time window and for another time window are determined. Correlation is determined among the first correlation between the samples selected after the first filtering and determined for the current window, and the samples obtained after the first filtering and defined for the other window, the second correlation between said samples obtained after the second filtering and determined for the current window, and the samples obtained after the second filtering and defined for the other window, third correlation between said samples obtained after the third filtering and determined for the current window, and the samples obtained after the third filtering and defined for the other window. Presence of an electric arc is detected depending, at least on a certain correlation.

EFFECT: technical result is increased efficiency of detection of the electric arc.
