FIELD: medicine; plastic surgery.

SUBSTANCE: linear transverse cutaneous-subcutaneous incision between the anterior-upper iliac bones along the edge of the pubic hair growth zone is performed. The cutaneous-subcutaneous flap is peeled off in a blunt and sharp way to the level of the xiphoid process and costal arches laterally to the anterior axillary line on the right and left, except for the area of the umbilical ring. The medial edges of the rectus abdominis muscles are sutured from the xiphoid process to the lower third of the hypogastric area with a duplicate using a Tikron 1 thread. Then a layer-by-layer suturing of the skin wound is performed, a cross-shaped incision in the area of the alleged neo-navel is created. Next, the edges of the navel skin, the edge of the skin of the anterior abdominal wall in the area of the opening of the neo-navel and aponeurosis are fixed for 3, 6, 9 hours, capturing the aponeurosis by the “outside-inside” method, leaving threads in the wound. The tip of the neo-navel is removed into the wound, while not sewing it to the aponeurosis, the threads are tightened and the neo-navel is immersed, forming a funnel-shaped retraction with an overhanging skin flap on the top of the “hood” type. Next, single intradermal seams are applied with a 6/0 prolene around the perimeter.

EFFECT: method allows getting the most aesthetic and functional result when performing abdominoplasty, to form an aesthetically correct and natural navel of the patient, excluding the formation of hematomas and seromas in the area of flap detachment.
