SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. To assess the functional state of the outflow pathways of the intraocular fluid (VGZ) during the combined operation of phacoemulsification with trabeculotomy ab interno, a dye solution is used, which is injected into the anterior chamber of the eye. First, perform a microinvasive phacoemulsification of cataracts with implantation of the IOL, then a dye solution is injected into the anterior chamber, creating a level of mild ophthalmic hypertension in the anterior chamber, waiting 30–40 seconds. With a visual assessment, the absence of a dye in the natural ways of outflow of the VGL is established, after that, enter into the anterior chamber viscoelastic and perform the second stage of the combined operation in the upper-nosed sector – intermittent trabeculotomy ab interno, over 90° up to 120°. Then remove the viscoelastic, reintroduce the dye solution into the anterior chamber, creating a level of mild ophthalmic hypertension in the anterior chamber, wait 30–40 seconds and visually establish the presence of the dye in the natural drainage outflow pathways. 5 % solution of sodium fluorescein is used as the dye.
EFFECT: method allows to evaluate the patency of natural ways of outflow of intraocular fluid during combined phacoemulsification with trabeculotomy ab interno at the far-reaching stage of glaucoma.
