SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. For the combined method of treating the patients with primary open-angle glaucoma and complicated cataract, the trabecule is exposed to laser light at wavelength of 1,064 nm with single pulses in amount of 55–70 on the entire circumference at equal distance from each other, radiation energy 0.8–1.2 mJ, spot diameter 8–10 mcm, exposure 3 ns, and then in 30–60 minutes, phacoemulsification of cataract is performed.

EFFECT: method enables reducing intraocular pressure, normalizing hydrodynamic parameters of the eye, increasing and stabilizing visual functions in the distant period, reducing a probability of reactive increase of intraocular pressure in the postoperative period, minimizing the risk of complications and reducing the rehabilitation period of the patients due to the safety and micro-invasiveness of the combined treatment.
