FIELD: computer equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the computer equipment. This method of video decoding includes obtaining a bit stream of video data, including encrypted data for a video data block; extracting from the bitstream of video data a blocking structure into blocks into a binary tree corresponding to a block decomposition process, including a binary tree partitioning process for a video data block, wherein this binary tree partitioning structure represents a division of the video data block into the final sub-blocks, if during the process of partitioning blocks into a binary tree, a decision is made to split one given block, this block is always divided into two sub-blocks; decoding of the final sub-blocks based on the bitstream of the video data; and decoding the video data block based on the final sub-blocks decoded in accordance with the binary tree partitioning structure.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of coding.
