The result herein is achieved by the video processing method including: maintaining a set of tables, wherein each table includes motion candidates, and each motion candidate is associated with the corresponding motion information; updating the list of motion candidates based on motion candidates in one or more tables, using the motion candidate pruning operation; and performing a conversion between the first video block and the representation of the video bit stream including the first video block, using the created list of motion candidates.

EFFECT: increase in the video compression ratio.
