FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to digital television, in particular to the generation of a time stamp for a synchronous terrestrial broadcast, within a single frequency zone of at least one audiovisual stream. Disclosed is multiplexing at least one audiovisual stream with at least one other audiovisual stream broadcast by said at least one connection, the method comprising: inserting packets comprising at least one information element representing common reference clock pulses, detection of at least one packet containing information representing the number of days that have elapsed from a predetermined date, calculating the number of returns to the beginning of the counter cycle for a predetermined period, updating the counter on each packet of the broadcast audiovisual stream, inserting at least one packet containing the value of the updated counter, into an audiovisual stream to form a modified audiovisual stream and transmit a modified audiovisual stream.

EFFECT: technical result is to provide a device which receives at least one data stream multiplexed with second data streams, enabling to synchronise at least one first data stream for its broadcast.
