FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to applied microbiology, biotechnology and the microbiological industry. Method for the biosynthesis of the nuclease of Serratia marcescens bacteria involves the addition of mitomycin C in an amount of 0.01–1.0 mg/l of the culture liquid during the exponential growth of Serratia marcescens bacteria on LB medium. In this case, the culture is carried out 6–22 hours with mitomycin C under conditions of a high degree of aeration of the medium in the range 340–870 mg O2/l/hour, which is achieved by aerating it with deep cultivation with increasing temperature up to 37 °C.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the intensity of the biosynthesis of nuclease by the Serratia marcescens bacteria.
