FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to non-dusty polymer powders. Disclosed is a polymer composition for process additives in the form of polymer particles, obtained by a multistage process, comprising at least one layer (B) comprising polymer (B1), having a glass transition temperature in the range of 80–150 °C and which is a (meth)acrylic homo- or copolymer; at least one layer (A) comprising polymer (A1) having a glass transition temperature in the range of -40 to 30 °C and which is a (meth)acrylic polymer, wherein the weight ratio of layer (A) in the composition is at least 1 % by weight and layer (A) is an outer layer, wherein the weight-average molecular weight of polymer (A1) is less than 1,000,000 g/mol. Method for the preparation and use of said composition is also disclosed.

EFFECT: disclosed polymer composition is a non-dusty powder composition with low content of fine particles, when added to thermoplastic resins, which enables to improve rheological properties and processability thereof.
