FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a polymer composition used as a master batch, for example in thermosetting resins, a method of producing the composition, to an epoxy resin containing said polymer composition and a method of producing said epoxy resin. Polymer composition contains epoxy resin, bark is solid at temperature below 25 °C and polymer obtained by multi-step polymerisation. Polymer obtained by multi-step polymerisation has the form of spherical particles and contains one phase (A) containing polymer (A1) having glass transition temperature of less than 0 °C and one phase (B) containing polymer (B1) having glass transition temperature of at least 30 °C. Polymer composition containing epoxy resin and polymer obtained by multi-step polymerisation is obtained by spray drying or coagulation.
EFFECT: invention provides efficient and homogeneous distribution of polymer obtained in multi-step polymerisation in epoxy resins.
