FIELD: biophysics; radiobiology; medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biophysics, radiobiology, medicine, in particular to oncology, and can be used tumor tissues growth inhibition and their necrosis. Method involves exposing the tissue to an electromagnetic field of an ultrahigh frequency. In this case, the effect is carried out by the resonance frequency with the nonthermal level of the power flux density of the electromagnetic field equal to 0.2 mW/cm2. Frequency of exposure is chosen equal to the natural frequency of the torsional oscillations of DNA spirals of tumor cells, which is calculated by the formula: ƒ = k ⋅ N-1/2, where k = 2.175 × 1013 Hz, N is the number of pairs of DNA nucleotides of the tumor cell. Irradiation is carried out for 6Vd-1, where Vd = (K – Ko) / (Ko∆t), where Ks – the initial number of tumor cells, K is a finite, Δt is the time interval between two measurements.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to suppress the growth of tumor tissues by suppressing replication of the DNA of the tumor cell in the absence of action on the DNA of cells of healthy tissues.
