SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy. In order to ensure low losses in iron according to the first version of the method, a slab is made of non-oriented electrical steel, which contains the following components, in wt%: C 0.0050 or less, Si 2.0 to 6.0, Mn 1.0 to 3.0, P 0.20 or less, S 0.0050 or less, N 0.0050 or less, Al 0.0050 or less, Fe and unavoidable impurities – the rest, and having Si-Mn nitrides with average diameter from 50 nm to 500 nm and numerical density of 1/mcm3 or less, cooling hot-rolled sheet at average rate of 30 °C/s or more in the temperature range of 800 °C to 650 °C, coiling at 650 °C, cold rolling at least in one step with intermediate annealing between steps and final annealing . According to the second version of the method, after hot-rolled sheet is coiled, hot-rolled sheet is annealed and cooled down at average rate of 30 °C/s or more in the temperature range from 800 °C to 650 °C, cold rolling at least in one step with intermediate annealing between steps and final annealing.
EFFECT: providing low losses in iron.
