FIELD: meteorology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of hydrometeorology and can be used for remote determination of hydrometeorological parameters of the state of the ocean-atmosphere system. Summary: device which is installed on a spacecraft measures its own microwave radiation from the ocean-atmosphere system. Measurements are carried out at the viewing angles of observation in the extended frequency range up to 220 GHz and at not less than 40 frequencies simultaneously. At the same time, hydrometeorological parameters are measured by three types of instruments: a scanner, a temperature probe and a humidity probe with polarimetric measurements on three channels, which are used to determine the Stokes parameters. Based on the measurement results, the hydrometeorological parameters of the atmosphere and the ocean surface are determined during ground processing.
EFFECT: increase in the number of recorded hydrometeorological parameters.
