SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology. Proposed is a method of evaluation of the productivity of recombinant transformants of yeast Pichia pastoris secreting phytases. Method comprises dot-seeding colonies of transformants to be evaluated on a modified diagnostic medium, which is a minimal nutrient medium with the addition of vitamins, trace elements and sodium phytate in a concentration of 0.5–1.0 (wt. %), with the sequential addition of lactic acid to a final concentration 0.17–0.18 (wt. %), CaCl2 to a concentration 0.5–0.8 (wt. %) and methanol to a concentration 1.0–1.5 (wt. %), incubation on it at 28–32 °C for 24–48 h and evaluation of the productivity by the ratio of the diameters of the bleaching area and the applied colony area, the greater the ratio of the indicated diameters, the higher the productivity.
EFFECT: method ensures the selection of highly productive recombinant transformants of yeast Pichia pastoris secreting phytases related to acid histidine phosphatases.
