FIELD: cleaning.
SUBSTANCE: multi-segment cleaning device for the tobacco industry is designed to clean channels transporting rod-shaped articles. Device comprises two cleaning members (20, 30) having different physical properties. One of the cleaning members (30) is made of a material ensuring a greater deformation of first cleaning member (30) and engagement with wall (51, 52) of transport channel (50) in a given region. Second cleaning member (20) is made of a material which ensures deformation of second cleaning member (20), wherein the region of engagement with wall (51, 52) of transport channel (50) at the same point is smaller than the first region. Extreme members of the cleaning device are second cleaning members (20).
EFFECT: providing free and stable passage of the cleaning device through channels of irregular shape.
