FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of manufacturing a floating joint and to a floating joint manufactured by this method. Floating connection (10) has first joint assembly (16) and second joint assembly (18) pivotally mounted relative to each other. In the manufacture of this joint (10), an arrangement is carried out in which protrusion (46) on the side of first joint (16), protrusion (60) on the side of second joint (18), ring (28) and plate (30) are positioned inside of housing (20). In addition, a stamping step is performed in which the end portion of housing (20) is crocheted and plate (30) is closed at the same time; and a gap adjusting step in which, as a result of pressing plate (30) towards ring (28), gap (70) is adjusted between ring (28) and plate (30).
EFFECT: creating a method for manufacturing a floating joint that allows efficient assembling of a plurality of elements with a predetermined gap and preventing the falling out of these elements, and creating a floating connection made by this method.
