FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to filter for fluids. Filter assembly comprises press-on lock and uncoupling mechanism. Filter press-on mechanism actuates floating lock driven by key on inserting and withdrawing. Note here that filter key may be used simultaneously as lock and identifier of filter design features. Filter base is fitted in pipeline for incoming and outgoing fluid flows, for example, as in refrigerator. Filter case assembly is secured to filter base to be detached therefrom by press-on unlocking mechanism. On inserting, filter key moves said floating lock in lengthwise direction to receive segments. On withdrawing, the same axial press-on force shift additionally said lock to level pins in gaps to allow easy withdrawal. Floating lock design allows identifying and combining definite configurations of the filter to be fitted on mechanical support.
