FIELD: electrical engineering; transportation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to electrical traction systems of vehicles. High voltage device for a vehicle comprises at least one high voltage component (24) and ground switching device (36). High voltage component (24), which is configured as a voltage conversion device, can be electrically connected to mains power supply (20) by means of main power switching unit (30). Earthing switch (36) comprises at least one switching means (38). Switching means (38) is intended to ground at least one electrical connection (28) between active part (35) of high-voltage component (24) and main power switching unit (30). High voltage component (24) comprises at least one receiving region (46) in which switching means (38) is disposed which ground at least one active part (35) of high voltage component (24). Rail vehicle comprising said high voltage device is also claimed.
EFFECT: technical result is to increase the safety of personnel when working on a high-voltage device.
