FIELD: wireless communication equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication technology and can be used in mobile devices. Wireless communication apparatus includes an amplifier circuit configured to amplify a signal output by a short range communication controller (NFC) that performs wireless communication to output an amplified signal to an antenna, a decision unit configured to decide, based on the operating mode of the NFC controller, to transmit the signal from the antenna through the amplifier circuit or to transmit a signal from the antenna without passing through the amplifier circuit, and a determination unit configured to determine the operating mode of the NFC controller, wherein the determination unit determines the operating mode based on the output signal level of the detected signal envelope output by the NFC controller.
EFFECT: simplified device, reduced size and cost.
