FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an electrovacuum technique, in particular to methods for manufacturing high-voltage vacuum contacts. According to the method, the titanium getter is placed inside the reed switch, a vacuum is created in the volume of the reed switch, then the getter is thermally activated by laser radiation passing through the glass reed balloon. At the same time, a titanium coating with a thickness of 0.5–1.0 mcm is applied directly to the contact surface of the reed contactor, which does not participate in current switching.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to provide the possibility of placing a titanium getter inside the reed without changing its design.
