FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, namely to a method for manufacturing non-evaporable getter materials with increased mechanical and sorption properties. The result is provided by a method for obtaining an non-evaporable getter, which includes layer-by-layer placement of the components of the powder composition according to the required topology in the reaction chamber and laser processing of a layer-by-layer formed volumetric product under conditions sufficient for phase transitions, subsequent extraction of the resulting part from the chamber with the removal of the powder composition that did not participate in the formation of the volumetric product. The layer-by-layer placement of the components of the metal-powder composition in the reaction chamber is carried out in an inert medium without preheating, laser and/or electron beam treatment of each powder layer is carried out in two stages: first, a high-density two-dimensional or three-dimensional reinforcing system is formed by fusing the powder, and then a highly porous matrix is formed by sintering the powder. The composite getter for the X-ray tube is made of a powder alloy, while the body of the getter itself has a composite structure consisting of a matrix and a two-dimensional or three-dimensional reinforcing system, and the matrix and the reinforcing system have the same chemical composition, while the matrix has a high through-volume porosity, and the reinforcing system has a high-density structure and a porosity of no more than 2%.
EFFECT: increase in the sorption properties and mechanical strengt of getters, as well as simplification of the production of getters of complex shape.
