First set of K' decorrelator output signals is provided based on the second set of K decorrelator input signals. First set of K' decorrelator output signals are up-mixed to a second set of N' decorrelator output signals, where N'>K'. First set of N decorrelator input signals is pre-mixed to the second set of K decorrelator input signals using pre-mixing matrix Mpre. First set of K' decorrelator output signals is obtained based on the second set of K decorrelator input signals. First set of K' decorrelator output signals is up-mixed to a second set W of N' decorrelator output signals using post-mixing matrix Mpost.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of coding three-dimensional audio scenes.
