SUBSTANCE: group of inventions includes the intravesical drug delivery device, and the drug to the patient controlled release provision method, relates to the field of medicine, and is intended for the drug release for therapeutic treatment. Intravesical drug delivery device comprises housing, comprising the drug reservoir closed cavity, limited by the first wall structure from the first material and the hydrophilic second wall structure from the second material, and the medicament contained in the drug reservoir cavity. First wall structure is made impermeable to the medicament, and the second wall structure is made permeable to the medicament. First wall structure is the cylindrical tube, and the second wall structure is the end wall, disposed at least on one end of the cylindrical tube, or the first wall structure and the second wall structure are adjacent to each other, and together form the cylindrical tube. First and second materials hardness is selected to make the device susceptible in the patient's bladder. Drug to the patient controlled release provision method consists in the fact, that deploying the drugs delivering device in the patient's body, wherein the said device comprises the drug reservoir closed cavity, limited by the first wall structure from the first material and the hydrophilic second wall structure from the second material, and releasing the drug from the drug reservoir cavity by penetration through the second wall structure.
EFFECT: inventions allow the drugs delivery inside the bladder with effective release rates for the certain group of different drugs over the long period of time and pain relief during the device deployment in the bladder cavity.
