SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to devices for drug delivery. Device comprises: housing forming reservoir, first unit located in reservoir in first position and containing medicinal agent, and second unit located in reservoir in second position, different from first position, wherein first and second units are interconnected by means of fluid medium. Second unit comprises a functional agent which facilitates drug release from the body in vivo.
EFFECT: wherein the device is configured to elastically deform between a relatively straight form suitable for insertion through the urethra into the patient's bladder, and a retention shape suitable for holding the above device inside the bladder.
