FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to noise absorbers of the exhaust system of an internal combustion engine, is intended for use in vehicles, transportable and stationary power plants. Device comprises a body in the form of a circular cylinder with end walls. In the body there are sequentially located expansion chambers connected by channels. Ends of the expansion chambers have a toroidal shape. Central part of each expansion chamber is made in the form of a circular cylinder.
EFFECT: when using the invention, the structure is simplified and its weight reduced.
