SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio communication. Location information of a corresponding mobile station is determined using a satellite positioning system receiver integrated in the mobile station, coordinates of the base station are calculated in advance and transmitted to the mobile station through the broadcast control channel, together with the information containing the characteristics of the base station of that cell, where this mobile station is located, using the formula of the distance between two points on a sphere, the distance from the mobile station to the base station is determined, knowing this distance, the mobile station determines the lead time and signal level and generates the corresponding data on the change in the operating parameters of communication channels.

EFFECT: technical result is higher transmission rate of a signal by reducing control information coming from the base station to the mobile station, and shortening the length of the guard interval in the access packet, as well as increasing the cell radius.
