FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to machine building. Method for determining coordinates of hole center and its realization by appropriate device is to determine coordinates of the center of spherical reflector of laser meter by at least three points of the arc of circle, according to which coordinates of the center of the arc of the circle are calculated. As a measuring instrument, laser tracker of coordinate measurement system is used, beam of which is directed to the center of spherical reflector, the latter is installed and fixed in the plane of base of measured hole. Then reflector is rotated to different angles in the plane of base of measured hole, while moving it along arc of a circle with respect to the center of measured hole, and determine by measurement of tracker spatial coordinates of three points of the arc of the circle using software coordinate measurement system. Obtained points are used to build a circle and determine spatial coordinates of its center, which is the center of the hole.

EFFECT: technical result is to provide the possibility of determining coordinates of the center of the hole in shaded, hard to reach and cramped places.
