SUBSTANCE: pant type absorbent article (1) comprises absorbent core (3) having two longitudinal edges (14, 14') and two transverse edges (15, 15'), pant-type component (4), wherein pant-type component (4) comprises cover layer (5), front part (6), rear part (7) and intermediate crotch portion (8), front and back parts (6, 7) being connected to each other along two opposite longitudinal side edges (9) to form waist opening (10) and two leg openings (11). Absorbent core (3) is located at least in crotch portion (8) and is connected to cover layer (5) on the side of cover layer (5), which is intended to be facing the wearer. Pant type component (4) comprises at least one low opacity region (16) having an opacity that is below 50 %, article (1) further comprising liquid-impermeable colored barrier layer (12) disposed between absorbent core (3) and cover layer (5).
EFFECT: pant type absorbent article is proposed.
