FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the medical equipment, namely to the balloons for medical procedures performance, such as angioplasty, and more particularly to the balloon catheter with controlled internal device. Balloon catheter includes rod, which passes in the longitudinal direction and has the proximal end and the distal end; and located along the rod inflatable balloon. Balloon comprises at least one portion, connected to the rod with possibility of moving to its proximal end or distal end during the balloon inflation. Rod is connected to the balloon by means of the transfer mechanism, which comprises telescopic device comprising the first portion attached to the balloon, and the second portion attached to the rod. Telescopic device is designed in made so, that the first portion and the second portion are telescopically moving relative to each other, while the rod distal end remains connected to the balloon, and the telescopic device first and second portions remain connected to the seal so, that to contain the fluid of inflation within the balloon.
EFFECT: invention provides creation of the balloon with variable internal device, which can provide the possibility of balloon contraction during its inflation.
