FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to a medical balloon and to a method for forming a medical balloon (embodiments). Balloon comprises inflatable main part including radiopaque material representing nonwoven X-ray contrast material. Position of the balloon working surface is determined during the surgical procedure with high accuracy. Medical balloon formation method involves X-ray contrast material application, pipe extrusion and balloon workpiece inflation in the balloon formation mold.
EFFECT: technical result achieved by using a group of inventions consists in making a workpiece for a medical balloon with an X-ray contrast portion and enabling tracking of the inflated and folded balloon position during investigation with high accuracy.
