SUBSTANCE: disclosed is an oral care appliance comprising a head portion and a handle portion comprising elastically folding appendages. Attachments extend laterally outside from the central base of the part in the form of a handle in opposite directions. In one embodiment, each of the appendages has annular loop-like structures with back-curved ends connected to the base. Head portion comprises dental cleaning elements such as bristles. Head-shaped part, the handle-shaped part and the bristles can represent a monolithic structure from an elastically deformable material with the ability to restore the shape. Bristles can be especially pliable and adapted for use in relation to an infant or pre-preschool child. Attachments have a non-deformed width preventing excessive insertion into an oral cavity of a child of early age, being in a maximum span state. Attachments can be folded against the base for a deeper insertion into the oral cavity of an adult.

EFFECT: appliance is configured to prevent contact of a part in the form of a head and tooth bristles with a flat surface when placed on it.
