FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of rail vehicles protection. Telescopic energy-absorbing device includes the first pipe, inside of which the compressible second pipe is located. During the first pipe installation, separating the second pipe separation device is used. Energy-absorbing device includes one compressing mechanism, passing through the first and second pipes connection. When the energy absorbing device is in the inoperative state, the compressible mechanism draws the second pipe inside the first one. Under the action of high-pressure air the compressible mechanism drives the second pipe and it pops-up to the outside. Under the action of the spring stiffness the separating mechanism presses onto the second pipe setting notch. While the second pipe is pulled into the first one by external force action, separation device separates the second pipe, at that, the energy is absorbed. Transportation facility with pneumatic drive contains the telescopic energy-absorbing device. Automatic or manual control over the energy-absorbing device is carried out by means of sensor (transmitter).
EFFECT: enabling reduction in the energy absorbing device dimensions.
