SUBSTANCE: invention relates to payments for wireless communication services, namely to real-time charging. Using a control plane object within the gateway, a service identifier is sent to a subscriber plane object within the gateway, wherein the service identifier is used by the subscriber plane object within the gateway to establish the first communication session associated with said service, with the real-time charging system according to said service identifier and intercommunion is done for charging during the first communication session, which is a communication session between the subscriber plane object within the gateway and the real-time charging system. Before the stage of sending the service identifier to the user plane object within the gateway by the control plane object within the gateway, the control plane object within the gateway interacts with the real-time charging system to establish a second communication session associated with the service requested by the subscriber and the service identifier assigned to said service is determined. Wherein the second communication session is a communication session between the control plane object within the gateway and the real-time charging system.
EFFECT: technical result is a reduced path of transferring information about charging and a decreased charging delay.
