SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and systems for data pre-processing and validation prior to an electronic payment transaction. The technical result consists in increasing the reliability of preliminary validation of transaction data. The method comprises the steps carried out in real time separately and before the implementation of the electronic payment transaction, namely: sending an electronic message containing at least the recipient's identifier and the amount of the transfer by the sender's device; receiving the sender’s message by the computing device of the sender's bank, then supplementing it with the data of the sender's bank and the sender; receiving of the said message by the processor, determining the recipient's bank by the identifier of the recipient for sending the said message to the computing device of the recipient's bank; receiving the said message by means of the computing device of the beneficiary's bank, supplementing the said message with the data of the beneficiary and the beneficiary's bank, and then sending a response message that includes at least agreed data of the sender's bank, the beneficiary's bank, the transfer amount and confirmation of the readiness of the payment by the beneficiary's bank to be credited to the processor, at the same time, the processor generates an electronic payment processing identifier that uniquely identifies this message, and sends a message with a pre-agreed payment order of the electronic payment transaction and the generated electronic payment processing identifier for their subsequent use when performing an electronic payment transaction to the sender's device through the computing device of the sender's bank.
