FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of shipbuilding and can be used in the creation of the foil devices of the hydrofoil vessels. Hydrofoil, which comprises streamlined body of the foil with vertical struts is proposed and is made in the form of a snowshoe with the system of nozzle openings on its upper surface. Outlet ends of the openings are directed to the bottom surface of the snowshoe at an acute angle.
EFFECT: technical result is to create the hydrofoil of a simplified design while maintaining its hydrodynamic properties.
