FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a cationic copolymer, a process for its preparation, as well as the use of this copolymer as a dispersant for geopolymer binder systems. Said cationic copolymer comprises: (a) 3 to 97 mol % of a cationic structural unit of formula (III)
b) 97-3 mol % of the macromonomer structural unit of formula (IV) . Said cationic copolymer is obtained by radical polymerization of the starting monomers. Said cationic copolymer has a molecular weight in the range of 1,000 to 500,000.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain cationic copolymers that are stable to Hoffmann elimination, and to increase their dispersing effect.
