SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the protection of valuable documents and valuable commercial products from forgery and illegal reproduction. In particular, the invention relates to security threads or strips comprising a holographic metal layer, a first transparent substrate, a second transparent substrate, a first solidified coating and a second solidified coating, the first plurality of non-spherical magnetic or magnetizable pigment particles of the first solidified coating being oriented so that to correspond to a convex curve, and the second plurality of non-spherical magnetic or magnetizable pigment particles of the second solidified coating is oriented so as to conform to a concave curve in order to form the effect of a multiple rolling band.
EFFECT: method of protecting valuable documents and valuable commercial goods from counterfeiting and illegal reproduction is proposed.
