FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of power electronics, power plants and, in particular, to a converter valve. Converter valve comprises a top shield cover, a bottom shield cover, at least two vertically stacked valve layers and a service platform. Bottom shielding cover is located in the upper part of the top valve layer. Lower screening cover is located in the lower part of the bottom valve layer. Each of the valve layers contains two gate modules placed side by side in the horizontal direction. Two valve modules are electrically connected by a bus and mechanically connected by fixing connectors. Bottom valve layer is connected to the top valve layer so that it is in a suspended state. Service platform is located between the horizontal planes on which there are two vertically adjacent valve layers or between horizontal planes, on which the bottom ventilated layer and the bottom shielding cover are located.

EFFECT: increase in reliability and increase in the convenience of service.
