FIELD: images forming devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to image forming means, in particular an image capturing device and an image capturing system. In this embodiment, said image capturing device includes a substrate on which a plurality of pixel circuits are arranged, a semiconductor layer disposed on the substrate, a first electrode, located on the semiconductor layer, and a second electrode disposed between the semiconductor layer and the substrate. Also, the continuous portion of the semiconductor layer includes a light-receiving area located between the first electrode and the second electrode and a charge holding region different from the light-receiving region.
EFFECT: receiving an image signal with reduced noise.
